This study aims to analyze the implementation of a nap-time management program at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Zamzam, Sidoarjo, as a strategy to address the problem of low student concentration in a full day school system. The
research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving homeroom teachers, partner teachers, and first to third grade students through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the nap-time program had a positive impact on learning readiness, as reflected in increased concentration, reduced drowsiness, and more stable emotional conditions. The main challenges included limited sleeping facilities, difficulties for some students to fall asleep, and uneven parental understanding of the program’s benefits. The study concludes that nap-time management is effective as a holistic educational innovation. With improved facilities, appropriate duration adjustments, and better parental education, the program has the potential to become a best practice that can be replicated in other schools.
