This research was conducted on Jalan Kolonel Sugiyono Gang 1B No. 7 RT 003/RW 006, Malang, East Java, the research implementation time was for 2 consecutive days. The production process experienced constraints due to high demand, the process of shredding or inserting dacron is the process that takes the longest time because before being inserted into the dacron pillow, it is first shredded manually. The method used in modifying the machine to maximize the function of the machine is Value Engineering, this method aims to maximize the performance of the dacron inserting machine for the dacron shredding process. The results of the machine modification using the value engineering method are that the machine is produced with a 5% greater output even though it has a modification price of 1,252,000
