Abstract

Increasingly fierce industry competition now requires business people to improve the quality of their employees' performance. PT PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo experienced production fluctuations that were allegedly related to employee performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of job description, human resource (HR) competence, and work culture on employee performance. The approach used was quantitative by distributing questionnaires to 109 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis through SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that job description, human resource competence, and work culture have a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on employee performance. These findings affirm the importance of clarity in job descriptions,
competency development, and the implementation of a supportive work culture in improving overall employee performance.
