Analysis of Bullying Behavior among Students at the Elite Islamic School in Sidoarjo
Analisis Perilaku Bullying antar Peserta Didik di Sekolah Elite Islam Sidoarjo

This study aims to analyze the forms of bullying that occur in an Islamic elite elementary school in Sidoarjo. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving fifth-grade students as respondents. The findings reveal five types of bullying: verbal, physical, extortion, exclusion, and cyberbullying. The most common form is verbal bullying, including mockery, insults, calling parents' names, and verbal threats that negatively affect the victims' psychological well-being. In addition, extortion, physical aggression, social exclusion, and digital bullying were also found. These findings indicate that bullying persists despite the school’s strong Islamic values due to weak supervision. The impacts of bullying not only affect the mental health of the victims but also disrupt their academic achievement and social interactions. This study recommends improving supervision, strengthening character education, and fostering collaboration with parents to create a safe and bullying-free school environment.
