Abstract

This study aims to improve the communication skills of children aged 4–5 years through role-playing activities at TKIT Al-Uswah Prigen. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of three meetings. Each cycle followed the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Indicators of success included the children's ability to express ideas, listen attentively, and respond verbally using complete sentences.The results showed a steady improvement in communication skills, increasing from 50% in the pre-cycle, 59% in Cycle I, 67% in Cycle II, and reaching 78% in Cycle III. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that role-playing activities are effective in enhancing early childhood communication skills, as they provide opportunities for self-expression and enjoyable social interaction.
