Abstract

 This study aims to describe the implementation of religious character values, integrity, and independence in learning activities at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Krian. Using a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, the results show that religious values are routinely applied through Dhuha prayers, Qur’an reading, and Islamic holiday celebrations. Integrity is instilled by cultivating honesty, responsibility, and avoiding cheating, while independence is developed through class picket duties and student-led event management. Teachers and principals serve as role models and key drivers in promoting character education. Despite these efforts, challenges remain, including students’ limited understanding of character values, restricted time allocation, and low parental involvement. Nevertheless, the school demonstrates strong commitment to integrating character education into daily activities, reflecting the goals of national education. Overall, the implementation highlights the school’s consistency in fostering sustainable character development through religious, integrity-based, and independent practices.
