This research emerged from incidents concerning compliance among students at UMSIDA. Many students experience difficulties transitioning from secondary school to university life, facing various emotional and social challenges. The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between self-regulation and compliance. This research adopts a quantitative correlational method, with a population of 10,350 UMSIDA students. The sample comprises 320 students, selected using accidental sampling. The variables in this study are self-regulation and compliance. Data were collected using two Likert-scale psychological instruments adapted from previous studies. Data analysis employed the Spearman Rho’s Product Moment correlation test with the assistance of SPSS 26.0 for Windows. The findings reveal that (rxy = 0.930, p = 0.000 < 0.05), indicating that the higher a student’s selfregulation, the greater their compliance, and vice versa.
