Role Playing Center Learning Model as an Effort to Improve Early Childhood Language Skills

Abstract

The role-play center learning model is an approach that encourages early childhood children to develop their
language and social skills through structured play activities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the
role-play center model in enhancing children's language abilities, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting
factors in its application. A qualitative narrative method was used, with data collected through interviews and
documentation at TK Aisyiyah 38 Driyorejo. The findings show improvements in children's language development,
such as increased vocabulary, greater confidence in speaking, and improved sentence construction. Supporting
factors include a well-prepared learning environment, active involvement of teachers and parents, and school support.
The obstacles identified include limited teaching materials, differences in children's personalities. The study recommends improving learning facilities and providing ongoing
training for teachers. Further research is expected to involve more schools and examine the broader impact on
children's overall development.
