This study aims to evaluate the effect of using animated video media on student learning outcomes in animal classification material based on the type of food. In this era, learning technology is very important to improve
student learning outcomes. The research method used is quantitative with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The
sample of this study consisted of 20 fifth grade students at SDN Gedangan 1. The results of it indicate that the
use of animated video media significantly improves student learning outcomes, with higher posttest scores than
pretests. Analysis of this data using the T-test showed a significance value (p < 0.05), indicating that the animated
video media was effective in helping students understand complex concepts better. This study provides evidence that
interactive media in education, especially in learning contexts that require clear, interesting visualizations.
Hopefully, these findings can make a positive contribution to student learning outcomes in primary schools.
