This study aims to describe teacher strategies in improving reading literacy in Indonesian language subjects, One strategy to improve reading literacy is that schools and family environments also support or involve literacy activities in literacy activities at home. Literacy is not only a reading and writing skill, However, we know that the meaning of literacy is the ability and skills needed to develop oneself socially in everyday life, However, we know that the meaning of literacy is the ability and skills needed to develop oneself socially in everyday life. The assessment conducted by the Indonesian teacher in class V shows that out of a total of 32 students, there is one learner who has not been able to read fluently.
