Abstract

In the 21st century, education is very important to develop creative thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine how the effect of students' creative thinking skills using a project-based learning model. The design used in this research is Pre-Experiment with One Group Pretest-Posttest type and using quantitative methodology. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of a test consisting of 8 essay questions. The sample used was 13 fourth grade students of SDN Kejapanan 1 who were selected using purposive sampling technique. With this, researchers used a paired sample t-test. With a significance level (α) of 0.05. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test calculation, it shows that the significance level sig. (2 tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the application of project-based learning models on students' creative thinking skills.
