Abstract

Chemistry learning at the junior high school level often faces challenges due to the abstract nature of many
concepts, such as acid-base reactions. To address this, Augmented reality  technology can be utilized as an
interactive and engaging learning medium. This study aims to develop an ar-based educational tool that helps junior
high school students better understand acid-base reactions in a visual and enjoyable way. The media presents 3d
simulations of acidic and basic solutions, color changes of indicators, and the outcomes of reactions, all accessible
through devices such as smartphones or tablets. Trial results show that the use of Augumented reality in learning significantly
enhances student interest, conceptual understanding, and classroom engagement. With its appealing interface and
ease of use, Augumented reality offers an innovative solution to make complex chemistry concepts more accessible to students.
