Desain and Implementation of a Floor Inclination Monitoring System Using Google Sheets

Abstract

The property sector, especially residential housing development, shows promising growth. A key structural component in homes is the floor, which supports daily activities. However, slight floor inclinations may go unnoticed visually, posing safety risks. This study focuses on designing a floor inclination monitoring device using tilt and accelerometer sensors, with data integration into Google Sheets. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller that collects and processes inclination data, then transmits it in real time via Wi-Fi. The research covers both hardware design and IoT-based programming to automate data transmission. Test results demonstrate that the system accurately detects angle changes and displays them in a structured table on Google Sheets. This allows for continuous monitoring and early detection of structural floor issues. The proposed system is efficient, affordable, and suitable for long-term use, offering a preventive solution to identify potential building damage early and enhance safety in residential structures.
