Indonesian education has the goal of understanding knowledge, forming morality, and developing character. The Merdeka Curriculum currently in use organizes the learning process with methods and an atmosphere of learning and teaching activities that are independent, enjoyable, and intergrates the noble values of the pancasila principles as well as the profile of the pancasila students. The methods and atmosphere of teaching and learning activities that are built in this way enable people to think logically, creatively, and understand easily. Moreover, this method and atmosphere seeks to broaden student’s understanding from various experiences. In order to provide an effective and enjoyable learning process, an interactive learning module called flipbook has been developed. This learning module is designed to improve student’s understanding of local wisdom materials, especially batik, through a technology-based approach and direct practice.
