From Legend to Learning : The Legend of Toba Lake Reading Comprehension Flipbook is an innovative digital learning media designed to enhance reading comprehension among students. Recognizing the challenges students face with traditional reading, such as a lack of engagement and low motivation, this flipbook leverages multimedia elements like animation, storytelling audio, and interactive exercises to create an engaging learning experience. This flipbook includes scrambled sentences activities, short answers and true or false questions, and a glossary to support vocabulary development. The use of narrative flipbooks has been shown to significantly improve reading interest and comprehension, as well as a tool in fostering student’s creativity, participation and academic performance in reading.
