Abstract

This research encourages students interest in learning through digital learning media, where most teachers have not implemented learning media as a tool for the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using digital flipbook media on beginning reading skills. The method used in this research is quantitative method of one group pretest posttest. The population of this study were first grade students totaling 29 students. Because it uses saturated sampling, all populations are sampled. Researchers use an assessment rubric consisting of several indicators of pronunciation, intonation, reading fluency, and voice clarity. Researchers used data collection techniques in the form of pretests and postests. The data analysis technique used was paired t-test. This can be seen from the results of the t-test with a sig value. (2 tailed) of 0.000 <0.05.
