The Influence of Problem Based Learning Model Using Interactive Media Articulate Storyline 3 on Elementary School Students Science Literacy Skills

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model combined with interactive media Articulate Storyline 3 on students’ scientific literacy. Using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved 17 fifth-grade elementary students. A 9-question scientific literacy test served as the main instrument. Data were analyzed using normalized gain (n-gain) and the Wilcoxon test. Results showed a significant improvement in students' scientific literacy after the intervention, with an average n-gain score of 0.46 (moderate category). The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. These findings suggest that the PBL model supported by Articulate Storyline 3 effectively enhances scientific literacy and can serve as an interactive and innovative learning strategy aligned with technological advances in education.
