Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry model on students' critical thinking skills. This study uses quantitative research methods with the type of research one group pretest posttest. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Randegan. The sample used in this study was a saturated sample with the number of students, namely 14 students in class IV Utsman. Data normality testing using shapiro-wilk which shows the calculation results are 0.323> 0.05 on pretest data and 0.418> 0.05 on posttest data which means the data is normally distributed. The data analysis technique to test the hypothesis in this study used the paired sample t-test which showed a figure of 0.000 <0.05, which means it can be concluded that there is an effect of the inquiry model on IPAS learning on students' critical thinking skills.
