Abstract

This research analyzes the working posture of employees at sumber pangan company which operates in the cracker production sector, the main focus is on the risk of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) caused by work posture that do not comply with ergonomic principles in the cracker printing section. With the aim of obtaining good and correct working posture and recommendation given for research. The method used is Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) for upper body posture and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) for overall body posture. The results showed that poor posture, especially in the molding area, increases the risk of fatigue and musculoskeletal injury. Based on the RULA and REBA assessments, posture improvements are recommended to reduce the risk of MSDS, and improve worker welfare and company productivity.
