Abstract

The development world's manufacturing industry followed birth industrial revolution 4.0 which considered fourth delivery new industrial revolution. Manufacturing industry important sector drive economic growth and open employment opportunities. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines supportive production process manual machines because machine productivity greater, efficiency. Study focuses analyzing effect endmill material parameters and spindle speed surface roughness tests CNC milling process. purpose study provide valuable guidance industrial world optimizing CNC Milling process achieve increasingly efficient work results and high accuracy. Research method used carrying out CNC Milling process aluminum 6061 and testing surface roughness. Conclusion surface roughness test results largest roughness value K4 specimen variations carbide endmill and spindle speed 2000 rpm, while smallest roughness result K6 specimen variations carbide endmill and spindle speed 3000 rpm and CNC process using high RPM considered efficient low RPM because helps reduce heat buildup cutting surface endmill cutting results smooth and roughness test results low.
