Abstract

The city transportation fleet in Pasuruan Regency, especially with the G3 code, often experiences damage that impacts operational time and driver income. This study aims to identify the engine components that most frequently fail using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and calculate maintenance and repair costs using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. The analysis results show that the Platinum component is the most critical part with the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value of 384. The total repair cost for this component was recorded at IDR 172,813, while the cost of preventive maintenance was only IDR Rp105.781. Thus, the implementation of preventive maintenance is effective in reducing damage and reducing costs by up to 10%.
