Penerapan Teori Shaping Dalam Memodifikasi Perilaku Percaya Diri Anak Di TK ABA Plosoklaten

Social-emotional development in children aged 4-5 years if not considered will cause quite serious problems in the growth and development of children. Feelings of inferiority, shame and lack of self-confidence are often experienced by children aged 4-5 years. This also happens to children in ABA Plosoklate Kindergarten. Therefore, the application of the Shaping Technique is carried out in the modification of self-confident behavior in children. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation and data analysis techniques using three layers, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. It is concluded that the Shaping Technique in modifying self-confident behavior in children depends on the stages carried out by the teacher before the intervention. The stages carried out continuously during the intervention and the reinforcement given When making changes and a supportive environment make self-confidence grow in children
