Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of teachers in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile strengthening project in primary schools, as well as the obstacles faced by teachers. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, employing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include descriptive analysis, comprising data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and verification. Validity testing is conducted using triangulation techniques. The research subjects were fourth-grade teachers, and the research location was SDN Tambak Kalisogo 2. Based on the research results, the roles of fourth-grade teachers in the implementation of P5 include: as coordinators, designers, facilitators, mentors, supervisors and consultants, and moderators. However, teachers also face challenges, such as misconceptions with parents regarding P5 activities, limited facilities and infrastructure, students' passive participation in P5 activities, and P5 activity schedules conflicting with academic activities.
