This study examines the simultaneous influence of learning motivation (affective aspect) and problem solving (cognitive aspect) on the mathematical disposition of primary students. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design, data were collected from 81 fourth-grade students through validated questionnaires and problem solving tests. Following classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis. revealed that both variables significantly influence mathematical disposition when assessed together. However, only problem solving demonstrated a significant partial effect, indicating that cognitive skills play a more dominant role than affective factors. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening problem solving abilities from an early age to foster positive mathematical attitudes. The study contributes theoretically by integrating cognitive and affective dimensions and provides practical insights for improving instructional strategies in primary education.
