This study aims to determine the best strategy to improve the productivity of plastic pellet processing at Company XYZ, focusing on the Erema 2 machine, which experienced a decline between January and December 2024, causing production targets to fall short. The Objective Matrix (OMAX) method was used to measure productivity performance, while Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) identified the root causes of defects and formulated improvement strategies. The results revealed that the third ratio defective product rate was the dominant factor reducing productivity. The highest productivity score was 480 in December, and the lowest was 120 in February. Of the 2,910,000 kg target, only 2,674,429 kg (91.8%) was achieved. FTA analysis identified nine main causes, including raw material issues, unstable storage temperature, poor inventory systems, lack of machine maintenance, and untrained operators. The study concludes that improving quality control, machine maintenance, and worker training is essential to enhancing production efficiency
