Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium for introducing various vegetables commonly cultivated using hydroponic systems. The problem addressed is the limited media that effectively present hydroponic vegetable information in an engaging and accessible way for students and the general public. The method used in this study is the development of an AR-based application utilizing marker-based tracking technology to display 3D models and descriptions of selected hydroponic vegetables. The application was tested through user trials and feedback analysis. The results indicate that the AR media increased users’ understanding and interest in hydroponic cultivation. The conclusion shows that AR technology is effective in supporting educational efforts by providing visual and interactive experiences that enhance learning outcomes in agricultural education, particularly in the field of hydroponic vegetable cultivation.
