Abstract

The fashion industry continues to evolve in line with the increasing public demand for apparel that not only fulfills aesthetic aspects but also considers comfort and ergonomic functionality. One of the essential stages in the apparel production process is designing basic patterns tailored to the body shape and activities of the wearer. This study aims to design ergonomic and fashionable basic clothing patterns by integrating digital techniques using Adobe Photoshop. The application of ergonomic principles in basic pattern design is expected to improve the comfort, freedom of movement, and aesthetic appeal of garments. Furthermore, the integration of Adobe Photoshop in digital pattern visualization provides time efficiency and precision in pattern design. This study is expected to serve as a reference for small garment businesses (UMKM) and beginner fashion learners in producing ergonomic and stylish apparel.
