The Point of Sale (POS) system is a technological solution used to support sales transactions, inventory recording, and customer data management efficiently in retail or service-oriented businesses. This system enables cashiers to process payments, print receipts, and record sales within an integrated platform. The primary goal of developing a POS system is to improve operational efficiency, reduce human error, and provide accurate and real-time sales reporting. In the digital era, modern POS systems are also connected to cloud technology and support cashless payment methods. The research and development of this POS system apply software engineering approaches, including user requirements analysis, interface design, and system testing. The final results indicate that implementing a POS system has a positive impact on service speed, transaction recording accuracy, and overall customer satisfaction.
