Abstract

This research presents the design and monitoring of a Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) system at 470 MHz using a dipole antenna and Villard-Dickson rectifier. The RF signal is emitted by a Handy Talkie and converted into DC voltage. The INA219 sensor and ESP32 microcontroller provide real-time monitoring, with output data displayed on an OLED screen. Tests show the system generates 7.84 V and 152 mA at 10 cm, but performance drops significantly with distance, reaching 1.89 V and 33 mA at 100 cm. The system effectively powers low-energy devices at short range and gives accurate voltage, current, and power readings. Its compact and efficient design is suitable for RF energy harvesting in small electronics. The findings support further development of eco-friendly, real-time monitored WPT systems. With future integration into IoT platforms and energy storage modules, this system has strong potential to support portable, wireless charging for various low-power electronic applications.
