SIMRS is a system used to record, manage, and monitor all patient data and activities during inpatient care. It integrates administrative, clinical, and billing functions to support hospital operations efficiently. A preliminary study at RSU Al-Islam H.M Mawardi Sidoarjo found several issues in the system’s use, particularly in the inpatient unit. This study aims to evaluate SIMRS using the HOT-Fit framework, focusing on the technology component. A quantitative method was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 130 hospital staff. The results showed that the technology aspect was implemented well, with an average score of 2.9, indicating a high level of acceptance. However, some technical problems remain, such as occasional system downtimes and delays in updating patient discharge data (SEP). These findings suggest that although the system performs well overall, improvements are still needed to enhance its reliability and to ensure better service delivery in hospital information systems.
