Use of QR Code for Food Ordering Web-based Using the Agile Kanban Method

Driven by the need for operational efficiency and improved service quality in the restaurant sector, particularly at
Threebrothers Billiard Café and Resto, which still use a manual ordering system. Issues arising from this traditional method
include long queues, the risk of ordering errors, and inefficient financial reporting. The objective of this study is to develop
a web-based food ordering system integrated with QR codes to enhance service efficiency, reduce employee workload, and
improve customer satisfaction. The system was developed using the Agile Kanban method to enable flexibility in the
implementation process and responsiveness to user feedback. Testing results indicate that all core features, including QR
code scanning, menu selection and editing, payment processing, data management by administrators, transaction reporting,
and user access rights management, function effectively. This system not only achieves technical efficiency but also supports sustainability principles by reducing paper usage.
