Stress is a psychological response commonly experienced due to various life pressures. One way to cope with stress is by playing games. This study aims to develop a 2D game titled Once Upon a Dream, designed to alleviate stress by involving players in controlling a character named Namrach, who is trapped in a dream world filled with monsters and challenges. The game uses Unity as the engine and follows the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) methodology. In testing, the game demonstrated good functionality through black-box testing, and beta testing resulted in a score of 86%, indicating high satisfaction from respondents. The results of this study show that Once Upon a Dream is effective as an entertaining medium that helps reduce stress.
