Peningkatan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa SMP Melalui Metode Praktikum

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of science process skills through practicum method and determine the effect of practicum method on science process skills of junior high school students. This type of research is a non-equivalent control group research design. Collecting research data in the form of science process skills tests in the form of essay questions. The data analysis technique consisted of N-Gain test with the help of excel 2013 application; normality test, homogeneity and Mann Whitney test with the help of SPSS program version 27. The results of this study showed no improvement in the science process skills of experimental and control class students. There was no significant difference between the science process skills of experimental and control class students, the practicum method in this study did not have a significant impact on improving the science process skills of VIII grade students.
