Mathematics is a structured and important learning subject to foster critical and logical thinking skills. Fraction learning is often considered difficult by students, therefore it can be improved through contextual learning models such as smartbox. Fraction Smartbox is an innovative interactive learning tool designed to make it easier for students to understand the concept of fractions in a concrete and fun way. It combines a manipulative approach with simple technology to increase elementary school students' engagement and understanding of fractions. Through interactive features such as light or sound indicators, students can directly know the truth of their answers, making learning more interesting and meaningful. This research aims to develop and test the effectiveness of Fraction Smartbox in improving the understanding of fraction concepts, this innovative learning media can effectively help students in understanding fractions by making learning fun and efficient.
