Abstract

his study aims to examine the use of TokTok and analyze its impact on the character of politeness and responsibility among Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah students. The study employs the qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interview, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study are fifth-grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah in Sidoarjo. The findings indicate that using Tiktok has become daily routine for students, especially after school and during their free time. Most students use Tiktok for mentertainment and to get the information. The use of TikTok has both positive and negative impact on students’ character. Positive content can enhance politeness and moral understanding, while negative content poses a risk of imitating inappropriate behavior and delaying responsibilities such as studying and helping parents.
