Character Education Implementation Strategy in Realizing Pancasila Student Profile to Prevent Bullying in Elementary School

Character education is an important aspect in shaping the personality of students, including in realizing the profile of Pancasila students. However, the challenge faced in elementary schools is bullying. With this, it is necessary to have a strategy for implementing character education in the elementary school environment. This study aims to determine the strategy of implementing character education in realizing the profile of Pancasila students to prevent bullying in elementary schools. This research was conducted at SDN Simoketawang with the subjects of the principal, teachers and students. This research uses descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of this study were 34% of students experienced verbal bullying, 33.4% physical bullying and 32.6% experienced relational bullying. The character education strategy applied in realizing the profile of Pancasila students by integrating into several activities, namely habituation, learning, and extracurricular.
