This study aims to determine the effect of using the POGIL learning model on science literacy skills in the knowledge aspect of elementary school students, especially in IPAS subjects. The research method used is quantitative with the type of quasi-experiment and the research design is nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Taman, Sidoarjo with research subjects of grade IV students who were divided into experimental and control groups. Based on the results of the t-test shows that the value of Sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.000 which means there is a difference in the average ability of science literacy aspects of knowledge in experimental and control classes.
