This study aims to analyze the use of billboard media used by the east java government transportation agency to provide information to the public regarding the 2023 free goods homecoming activity. This study focuses on the effectiveness of billboard media, whether it is still relevant to use today and has a significant influence on influencing the public in increasing community participation in returning home. This research method, namely by collecting purposive sampling data and informants in this study are people aged 17-30 years. The use of billboard media used by the east java provincial transportation agency is still considered effective in conveyin information to tree public. The study conducted interviews with several informant stating that the contents of the billboards were easy to understand and the public was enthusiastic about participating in the 2023 free homecoming was also happy with the 2023 free homecoming activity which was considered very helpful.
