Abstract

Phonics media is a medium used to teach the relationship between letters (graphemes) and sounds (phonemes) in language. The use of phonics media for dyslexic children because phonics media helps dyslexic children develop reading and spelling skills and improve communication skills. Dyslexia is a cognitive disorder that manifests as difficulty in reading among students. Individuals with dyslexia often struggle to recognize similar letters, resulting in writing that appears jumbled and hard to comprehend. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of phonics media in enhancing the reading skills of children with dyslexia. Employing a quantitative method with a single-subject experimental design, the researchers utilized various data collection techniques, including interviews, pretests and posttests, and original documentation.
