Abstract

This research explores the influence of teacher-student relationships and achievement motivation on Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) of upper class students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. With a correlational quantitative approach, a sample of 207 students was analyzed using the STRS scale, Schunk's achievement motivation, and Zimmerman's SRL. The results of the regression analysis show that teacher-student relationships and achievement motivation have a significant effect on SRL, with teacher- student relationships making a greater contribution. SRL has proven to be important for improving students' study time management, planning and self-evaluation. Positive relationships between teachers and students, as well as high motivation, support optimal SRL development. These findings provide strategic insight for the development of learning methods in basic education that focus on strengthening teacher-student relationships and achievement motivation in order to increase student learning independence and academic achievement.
