Abstract. Shoe manufacturing companies cannot achieve daily production targets due to an imbalance in the workload in the finishing area during the shoe shine process or what is usually called the creaming process. In this finishing process, each work station is carried out by 1 operator at each work station. The aim of this research is to balance the production trajectory of the finishing process. Researchers used the Large Candidate Rule (LCR) and Regional Approach (RA) methods. Comparison of the calculation results of track efficiency, smoothing index, balance delay, total Idle time, and total work stations. By using both methods, the RA method is the most optimal method. This is indicated by a track efficiency value of 81.73%, balance delay of 18.27%, total Idle time of 1.998 minutes, smoothing index of 0.931, and a total of 9 work stations..
