This study aims to describe the course of the learning process in Arabic for students with special needs in grade 8 at SMPIT Permata Probolinggo. This study uses a qualitative research method, namely the results of the data will be explained descriptively. The research subjects were Arabic subject teachers, shadow teachers and some students with special needs. Techniques to collect data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that there are two types of criteria for special needs in grade 8, namely slow learners and autism. In the process of learning Arabic for students with special needs at SMPIT Permata, there are three stages, namely planning, implementing, and evaluating. Factors supporting learning Arabic include learning media, the role of the teacher. The inhibiting factors include differences in criteria for special needs, inadequate class facilities, and the absence of special modules for students with special needs..
