Abstract

This research explores the use of singing strategies in learning Arabic vocabulary at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the singing strategy is applied in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Songs with adapted lyrics help students memorize Arabic numbers more easily. However, writing remains a challenge, as many students struggle to write the vocabulary they have memorized. Supporting factors include textbooks, a conducive environment, and competent teachers, while obstacles include minimal technology use and lack of writing practice. To address this, integrating singing with writing exercises and incorporating technology is recommended. Overall, the singing strategy effectively enhances students' understanding and interest in Arabic vocabulary but requires complementary methods for optimal results.
