Abstract

This research background is ineffective learning that causes students become passive learner,  uncreative and having low learning outcomes. One way for teachers to enhance students' thinking skills is by creating innovations in the learning process that allow students to think in ways that align with their characteristics and environment. The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes using application software and office applications material for eighth-grade students of MTsN Gresik. The research stages consist of one cycle. The data collection technique involves quantitative data from student learning outcomes in the form of the average student scores per cycle, as well as the difference in student scores between the prerequisite material and cycle 1. From this research, can be concluded that there is an improvement in learning outcomes using application of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in Informatics subject.
