Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) in improving the speech abilities of early childhood children with Global Developmental Delay (GDD). Using a single-subject quasi-experimental A-B design, researchers observed four-year-old children with speech delays through direct observation and checklists. Visual graph analysis showed that CCPT positively impacted articulation and fluency, with a 0% overlap data score, confirming its effectiveness. The study highlights CCPT's role in play-based therapy and suggests further research using an A-B-A design and integrating technology for enhanced intervention.
