Every job carries the risk of workplace accidents, which may stem from production processes, worker negligence, or environmental conditions. Observations at PT. XYZ identified 25 workplace accident cases, representing 25% of the zero-accident target. This study analyzes occupational safety risks in can production using the HIRADC and RCA methods. Three high-risk hazards were found in the printing production stage, potentially causing fires, burns, respiratory issues, and skin irritation. Analysis using the fishbone diagram and 5 whys identified key accident factors, including a lack of safety policies, inadequate training, and an imbalance between cost efficiency and safety. The proposed solutions, based on the 5W1H method, include implementing occupational safety policies, conducting regular training, performing safety audits, and using thermocontrol technology. Implementing these measures successfully reduced high risks to a lower level, helping the company improve workplace safety standards and move closer to achieving the zero-accident target.
