Technological developments and the increase in internet users in Indonesia, which will reach 215.63 million people in 2023, have made social media an important part of students' daily lives. This research aims to see how social media etiquette material fosters the character and morals of class VIII students in social media and looks at students' daily behavior in using social media. The method used in this research is qualitative, with data collection through interviews and observations at MTS Bustanul Ulum.The results of the research show that class VIII students understand the social media etiquette material, in the daily social media behavior of class VIII students there is cyberbullying behavior and rude language. There is agap in students' understanding of the application of behavior in everyday life, therefore, it is necessary to strengthen social media ethics education to build good character in students, so that they can interact responsibly in cyberspace.
