Abstract

The diversity of flora is still unknown. Therefore, natural knowledge has an important role in Education given the limitations of print media as a learning medium. Innovation using Augmented Reality technology is helpful as a learning medium that can support learning processes more effectively and efficiently. On the other hand, Augmented Reality by showing real-time 3D models of objects can also increase interest in learning about Indonesia's rare flora of interest. In this study, researchers successfully designed and developed the application "Digital Book Flora Rare Indonesia Using Augmented Reality" which has been tested on 16 responders, showing more than 50% that the application can be used as a learning medium that can increase learning interest with the 3D model display of interesting objects. However, for later research applications can be developed with the added edugame feature to be more interactive.
