The Effectiveness of the Chain Whisper Game to Improve Istima' Ability in Arabic Language Learning for SMP Malang Students

This study examines the effectiveness of the chain whisper game in improving the skills of 8th grade students of SMP NU Roudlotut Thohirin Bantur. The learning of istima' in this school is less varied, causing students to be less enthusiastic and less focused. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with one group design (pre-test post-test). Data is collected through tests, observations, and documentation. The results of the descriptive analysis and T-Test show that this game creates an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. Although it takes a long time and causes crowded classes, the game increases student participation. The results of the T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and -t calculated -9.644 < -t table -2.10092, so Ho was rejected. Thus, the chain whisper game has proven to be effective in improving the istima' skills of 8th grade students of SMP NU Roudlotut Thohirin Bantur
