In the 21st century, Arabic language learning is accessible anytime and anywhere, with Maharah Kalam being crucial for active Arabic communication. New technologies have enhanced learning through various multimedia resources, including digital learning materials. However, selecting the most suitable digital media for each student’s needs remains a challenge. This literature review aims to identify digital media used in teaching maharah kalam in Indonesia using a systematic literature review (SLR) method. Fifteen scientific articles from 2019 to 2024 were analyzed. The study reveals that vlogs are the most frequently used digital media due to their interactive nature, which enhances speaking skills. Besides vlogs, six other digital platforms significantly impact Arabic language learning in Indonesia: YouTube, Duolingo, Website learning.aljazeera.net, Alef Education media, WhatsApp, and Plotagon. These tools provide diverse learning experiences, enabling students to practice speaking in different contexts, thus improving their proficiency and engagement in Arabic discourse effectively.
